Important Information

San Antonio Methodist Hospital system employees must have the current course materials to attend all courses. To pick up your course materials, please contact your educator.

ATTENTION: it is required that you complete your PALS pre-course assessment prior to attending your course. You will need to bring a copy of your completed pre-course assessment. You must score a 70% or higher. The pre-course assessment can be taken as many times as needed. Provider cards will not be issued without a completed pre-course assessment and only after completion of the course skills check.
Cancellation of Course: If you are unable to attend your scheduled course date, you will need to request a cancellation via email, at least 3 days prior to your course date. Email: sanantonio@rchealthservices.com Methodist employees will be responsible for a No Show fee of $50.00 if they do not request cancellation prior to course date. Methodist San Antonio will not reimburse "no show" fees.

    Important Information for Virtual AHA Classes:

    Once you are registered for a virtual class, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the live streaming class and any pre-course assessments required for your course.

    PRIOR TO CLASS: All Methodist employees must obtain a course manual from the education department. Anyone without a manual during the live streaming class will be required to reschedule.

    You will need to have access to the internet and computer with a webcam and mic. You must log on and be accepted into the class no later the 15 minutes past class start time. During the course, you will have access to a moderator that will interact with you and answer any questions you may have.

    When your class is complete, you will be sent the exam via email to complete as soon as the class is over. AHA Skills Sessions will need to be completed prior to receiving your provider card. To schedule a skills session, please contact sanantonio@rchealthservices.com.
