The Jurisprudence exam is required to be taken and passed prior to re certification or obtaining initial EMS certification with the State of Texas.

The exam is an open resource exam and a grade of 70% or higher must be achieved. There is no limit to the number of times the exam can be attempted, and it is not a timed exam.
