RC Health Services is Jacksonville and Duval County’s preferred training center for CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Our reputation of high quality American Heart Association training is known throughout the Jacksonville Metropolitan area at all of the Major Hospitals and with the largest corporations. Memorial Hospital, St. Vincent Medical Center, Baptist Health Center and UF Health employees attend our BLS for Healthcare Provider courses, CPR/AED classes, ACLS (Advanced Life Support courses), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) courses, and First Aid Training on a regular basis. We offer onsite training with our instructors to groups throughout the city.
Our main office is located just off of I 95 and State Road 202 (J. Turner Butler) across from St. Vincent’s Medical Center in the Southpoint area..
Our goal is to offer the most convenient and informative high quality AHA CPR courses in the Jacksonville Metropolitan and surrounding areas.
The ACLS Class is taught by top level Registered Nurses and Paramedics with many years of experience performing in emergency situations. They apply their experience to help facilitate the learning process for the student during the course.
All of our AHA certification courses adhere to the guidelines set forth by the American Heart Association and each student is issued their 2 year certification upon successful completion of the course.
We offer a series of ACLS and PALS preparation courses via our online portal. Courses include online EKG for both the Adult and Pediatric cases, in hospital and out-of-hospital Stroke courses, and the Learn STEMI course. All of our online courses earn continuing education units for Nurses, Paramedics, and Physicians.
RC Health Services Jacksonville in Duval County was the first Florida satellite location under the RC Health Services Banner when we formed a partnership with Ron and Norma Dorsett owners of Emergency and Safety Educators Group, whom proudly served the Jacksonville Metropolitan area for 9 years. They have conducted numerous courses throughout the Jacksonville metropolitan area.
RC Health Services goal is to work closely with local hospitals and EMS services to constantly improve the quality of our Jacksonville ACLS training. We work diligently to adhere to all the American Heart Association guidelines in our approach to BLS classes and CPR courses. When you receive a CPR certification from our Training Center it represents the best in local AHA training.
Our instructors are respected healthcare providers and work as Paramedics and nurses and have several years of real world experience in dealing with life-threatening emergencies.
Providing CPR and the early use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) is essential in improving the out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rate. We are committed to making an impact in the Jacksonville Metropolitan area including through our CPR, AED, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and First Aid programs.
The AHA BLS course is required for Healthcare providers, hospital workers, physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, EMTs, Paramedics, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist and all students entering these medical professions. Our BLS courses in Jacksonville are focused on making sure that each student has a profound understanding of the importance of the basic life support course. Day Care, PreSchool and Public/Private teachers can expect to receive the appropriate level CPR and First Aid training accepted by their accrediating agency as well as the Duval County Division of Family Services.
