Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.
PALS is offered in two training formats: blended learning and classroom sessions. Both options cover the same AHA science-based skills and lead to the same AHA PALS Course Completion Card.
Is AHA PALS the right course for you?
PALS is designed for healthcare providers who respond to pediatric emergencies, including those working in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units. Upon successfully completing the course, participants receive a certification card valid for two years. Please consult your employer to confirm you are selecting the correct course.
