Heartsaver Instructor Essentials Online is the self-paced, online component of the blended learning course designed to prepare instructor candidates to teach AHA Heartsaver courses. It covers the essential steps for becoming an AHA Instructor, including preparing, teaching, testing, remediating, closing, and maintaining currency. The course provides core instructional content, as well as course-specific guidance on using AHA materials, coaching students, evaluating skills, and following AHA policies.
This online course is a prerequisite to the instructor-led portion and is updated to replace AHA product 15-1418.
